Scott S. Riemenschneider was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 1993. Scott completed his undergraduate degree in 1990, earning a Bachelor’s Degree, cum laude, in Economics and Business Administration from Coe College in Cedar Rapids. He then earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Juris Doctorate in 1993 from Drake University in Des Moines. Scott is admitted to practice in all State and Federal Courts located in Iowa.
Scott’s primary areas of practice include Wills, Trusts, Probate, Estate Planning, Guardianships/Conservatorships, Real Estate, Income Tax and Elder Law. He is a co-author of the Handbook for Older Iowans and helped produce the Guardianship and Conservatorship Training Video which is distributed by the Iowa State Bar Association. He is also a contributor to the Substitute Decision Making DVD developed by the Iowa Department of Elder Affairs.
Since being admitted to the bar, he has handled a vast number of cases involving many different legal issues including divorce, adoption, bankruptcy, criminal law and debt collection. Prior to joining Wilson, Deege, Dollar, Despotovich & Riemenschneider, Scott was the managing partner for the law firm formerly known as Riemenschneider, Rydell & Smalley.

Scott was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on August 1, 1968 and attended Roosevelt High School. His family owns farm land in Marshall County and lake front property in the State of Minnesota. He is married with three daughters.
